This is a track for one of my oldest and closest friends, who sadly is no longer with us, and I'll never see or hear from him again, and there's no changing that. This track is a small tribute to him and something I feel is appropriate.

He played a lot of instruments but I knew him as a bassist, he had played bass on many of our projects together and I'll never forget his bass covered in grindcore and noise project stickers. That's why I chose bass as the main instrument of this track, he regularly used a Boss yellow overdrive and reverb, so for this I did too. There's not much else on it, just those few elements together.

It's not a complex track, but he loved ambient and minimalism, he introduced me to ambient and noise and drone music and is the reason I am involved in and make these things today. He was the reason for a lot of things that I am proud to call myself today, and I wish I had the chance to tell him that while he was alive, but I didn't.

His musical output was always varied whether it be DJ Emphysema, Smegmascreen, Chronic Tinnitus or Internal Purgatory, they were all uniquely his and we'll never get anything new from them. Wherever you are now Ash, I hope you're happier then you were here, I know you had very little love for this earth, and the love you did have was mostly directed to your parents, your friends, and birds.
