I wrote this a few months ago, at a time where I'd wake up in the morning and my sickness and anxiety would come and go, constantly rising and falling, making it hard to do anything. The only thing I really found respite in were little webcomics and comedy snippets, which inspired the artwork.
I needed to prove to myself that I could still do things, so I decided to try and make some music, and in the end I got this. I can't tell if it's particularly good or bad, but it's honest. I have a bunch of cassette tapes baking on thew window, and I decided to record this on to one of them, it gave it some nice scratches and pops. I think I left the playback running too long, but it helps paint a picture of the mindset I was in at that time, too sick to even pay attention to a cassette spinning around.
